New Co-Ed Team Forming  Basketball

  • If you'd be interested in joining a newly-forming co-ed basketball team for recreational-competitive play in the upper Montgomery County area, check out the "Maryland Cagers." We are looking for players, coaches and administrators who are at least 16 years old of any ability level. We can become more recreational or competitive as the team forms and grows.

    Hi, Jay--

    We're looking to play in the Germantown, MD area. The place is TBD depending on how many players we get. So far we're looking good for getting it started. I'm hoping to grab either a community college gym in Montgomery County (Rockville or Germantown) or maybe to rent space at a school or the SoccerPlex.

    Hope this helps-- Let me know what position you've played or would like to play if we pull this team together.

    Hello, All Interested Cagers Ballers:

    I know this site has been down a lot lately, so if you haven't received a reply from me or have any other quesitons, please let me know and I'll get back to you right away. I think we're close to having enough interest to at least arrange a team meeting and to see what the group as a whole would like to do and which direction we should go. I'm working on a gym now-- so I hope to have that info by then.
